YODO™Linker

Efficient and specific solutions for the key process of biocoupling

YODO™Linker

Bio-coupling technology refers to the precise and solid connection of two or more molecules, especially biological macromolecules such as proteins or peptides, through chemical covalent bonding, and in this process, linkers play a crucial role as “ties”.

Our linker products have a unique chemical structure, which contains highly reactive two-terminal groups that can specifically recognise and efficiently bind to specific functional groups on target biomolecules, such as primary amino group (-NH2), sulfhydryl group (-SH), etc. These functional groups are widely found in proteins and peptides, and can be used to bind proteins or peptides in a precise and stable manner. These functional groups are widely found in different parts of proteins and peptides, making linkers extremely flexible and useful in a variety of biomedical and scientific applications.

Applications

  1. Biotinylation: Biotin is conjugated to proteins or peptides for signal amplification in biological assays (e.g. ELISA, Western Blot, etc.).

  2. Immobilisation to the surface of solid-phase supports: Covalent attachment of proteins or peptides to solid-phase carriers such as microtiter plates, magnetic beads, microarrays, etc., for use in immunoassays, protein microarray preparation and isolation and purification.

  3. Protein structure research: through linker-mediated cross-linking reactions, to reveal protein interactions or internal structural changes of proteins, and deepen the understanding of protein conformational relationships.

  4. Metabolic labelling: labelling of proteins or peptides to facilitate the tracking of their absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion in the organism for pharmacokinetic studies.

  5. Alteration or modification of functional properties: Chemical modification of amino acid side chains of proteins and peptides by linkers can adjust their charge states, expose or shield reactive sites, or even inactivate certain functional groups or confer new properties, providing customised targets for drug discovery, biomaterials design, and biotherapeutics.

Undergoing rigorous internal validation, market evaluation expected in July

Currently, these linker products are undergoing a rigorous research and development validation phase, in which our R&D team is making every effort to conduct in-depth testing and validation of their stability and reactivity under different conditions, their specificity in binding to target molecules, as well as their practical effects in various in vitro diagnostic and bioscientific research experiments.

We are very pleased to announce that we expect to successfully complete the validation of this series of linker products in July this year. At that time,YODO DIAGNOSTICPLEX LIMITED will officially launch this innovative product series with detailed product specifications, operating instructions and application examples to ensure that our customers can give full play to its superior performance in actual use, help the progress of biomedical research and development, and promote the technological innovation in in-vitro diagnostics and other related fields.
